Meet The Team

Founder & Director
Michael McNulty
Michael McNulty is the founder of the Shreds and Patches Project which he developed as a means of bridging the mission of the Pro-Art Association, the arts programming needs of the public schools in Southwest VA and the resources of the University of Virginia's College at Wise. Michael serves as the Executive Director of the Pro-Art Association, and concurrently as Professor of Theater Arts for the University of Virginia's College at Wise, where he previously chaired the department of Visual and Performing Arts. With more than 100 theatrical productions to his credit, Michael has worked professionally as a theatrical director, designer, and performer. Michael holds an MFA in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama and is a member of the Society of Directors and Choreographers. He has worked as a creative and technical consultant for private and corporate clients including F.A.O. Schwartz, The Rainforest Cafe, Bush Gardens—Tampa, and the Storm King Art Center.

Stage Manager
Becca Clippard
Becca Clippard works as a freelance Stage Manager, Lighting Designer and Sound Engineer in the Southwest Virginia region. She has worked in these capacities for the Barter Theater (Lort C Regional), the Pro-Art Association, The University of Virginia's College at Wise, regional public school districts, private companies and other non-profit organizations. Becca holds a Bachelors of Arts in Theater and serves as the resident stage manager for the Shreds and Patches Theater Project, while pursuing a Masters Degree in Education with a focus on Theater Education.

Sound Designer
Rosa Bott
Gwyneth Rosa Bott serves as the head of Audio-Visual support at the University of Virginia's college at Wise while concurrently working as a freelance sound and lighting designer and technician in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. Rosa is regularly contracted for sound work by the Pro-Art Association and serves as the resident sound designer for many of the plays and musicals presented by the University of Virginia's College at Wise. Prior to her tenure at UVA Wise, Rose worked as an assistant sound engineer for the Barter Theater, a LORT C regional theater in Abingdon, VA. Rosa hods a BA in Theater and serves as Sound Designer and engineer for the Shreds and Patches Theater Project.

Manager/ Actress/ Social Media
Ashlyn Mullins
Based in Southwest Virginia, Ashlyn Mullins is a professional actor, director, and producer. Her professional directing credits include work with Great Plains Theatre and Shreds & Patches Theater Project. Ashlyn has been a member of The Shreds & Patches Theater project since it's initial tour of Alice: Through the Looking Glass. As a stage actress and vocalist, she has toured and performed with Florida Repertory Theatre, The National Theater for Children, Bright Star Touring Theatre, the Appalachian Center for the Arts, and Shreds & Patches. Passionate about regional arts education, Ashlyn also serves as the Artistic Director of Camp Create!, an immersive youth theater program. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from The University of Virginia's College at Wise.

Videographer/Media/Actor
Will McQueen
Based in Southwest Virginia, Will McQueen is a professional actor and videographer who has been involved with Shreds & Patches since performing in The Marvelous Imaginary Menagerie (2024). He has toured nationally with The National Theatre for Children and Bright Star Touring Theatre, as well as regionally with Shreds & Patches.
A dedicated educator, Will serves on the staff of Pro-Art’s Camp Create! Outside of acting, he co-owns Lone Mountain Productions and leads digital media and performance videography for Shreds & Patches. He holds a degree in Music and Communication Studies from The University of Virginia’s College at Wise

Costumer/Actress
Celeste Holmes
Celeste Holmes is a theatre student at The University of Virginia’s College at Wise who has been involved with the Shreds & Patches Theater Project for three seasons as both an actor and costumer. Passionate about dance and movement, she recently completed a costuming apprenticeship at the American Dance Festival. Celeste continues to bring her multidisciplinary talents in performance, design, and physical storytelling to regional touring productions across Southwest Virginia.
