Jazz: America's Music guides the audience through a chronological whirlwind tour of the history of jazz. The Jazz Favorites will perform beloved tunes representing New Orleans Dixieland, the Big Band Swing Era, Bebop, Cool Jazz, Hard Bop, Modal Jazz, Fusion, and Latin American-Influenced Jazz. Prepare to leave with a song in your heart and a better appreciation for one of America's greatest contributions to music—

The Jazz Favorites, under the direction of Dr. Joseph Trivette, bring their soulful, spontaneous jazz to Haysi’s Russell Fork Trail Center. Known for their expressive improvisation and deep musical craft, they bring each tune to life in the moment—shaped by the environment, the crowd, and the energy of the night.​
