Shreds & Patches

Theater Project

The Shreds and Patches Theater Project is a partnership between the Pro-Art Association and The University of Virginia’s College at Wise. The Project pairs theater professionals with college student-apprenticeships to create accessible, live theater performances to tour regional school districts in Central Appalachia. The Project is dedicated to rediscovering the promise of live theater to undo expectation, arouse festivity, and sew community through playful imagining and meaningful reflection.
