We're excited to welcome Symphony of the Mountains back for the 6th annual patriotic pops concert at Leeman Field in Pennington Gap. The outdoor concert is free and open to all and brought to you in conjunction with The Town of Pennington Gap. Pack a lawn chair or blanket and join us for an evening of music that celebrates America’s musical heritage.
Symphony of the Mountains’ outstanding ensemble of regional musicians presents an evening of patriotic favorites, Americana, military tributes, and beloved popular classics.
Perfect for audiences of all ages, this patriotic concert combines engaging storytelling, audience participation, and the spirit of community as we celebrate Independence Day together.

Symphony of the Mountains’ commitment to service encompasses the entire region, without regard for state or county boundaries. The orchestra consists of more than 70 professional musicians conducted by Cornelia Laemmli Orth.
