About the event
Come learn to use acrylic paints to recreate a view many hold dear of home with local artist Kandee Wallace! All materials are paid for within the cost of your ticket. Bring your creativity (and a little patience) with you to learn how to create a mountain forest scene.
Artist Bio:
Kandee Wallace is a portrait and illustration artist who works with acrylic and ink to create fun and whimsical captures of the Appalachian unordinary.
Although she spent the first half of her life trying to break free from her roots and foundation, she has since found solace and inspiration there, embracing the sense of “home” in her origins. Delving deeper into her culture and surroundings, she drew inspiration from the very landscapes that had enveloped her life, but she had never truly appreciated.
