About the event
Nearly everyone has access to one, but do you know how to use the camera on your phone to take good photographs? Come learn some digital photography fundamentals with Professor David Frazier, starting at the High Knob Destination Center and exploring a portion of the trail to look for natural beauty to capture!
Bring your phone/digital camera, comfortable shoes, and some water.
For the last 20 years, David Frazier has focused on ballet photography, leading to solo exhibitions at East Tennessee State University’s Slocum Gallery and at Tusculum University’s Clem Allison Gallery. He also pursues mobile phone photography, focusing on landscapes and flora and fauna of Southwest Virginia. For several years, he taught photography to high-school students as part of the Upward Bound program at Tusculum University. David teaches Software Engineering at UVA Wise, lives in Johnson City, and has a farm in Russell County.
