The Symphony of the Mountains Woodwind Trio will introduce young listeners to the colorful world of woodwinds in this engaging, educational chamber music concert for flute, oboe, and bassoon. Students will discover how each instrument produces sound, what makes its voice unique, and how these instruments come together in a variety of musical combinations—duos and trio alike. The program features lively, audience-friendly selections, including the imaginative The Boa Constrictor and the Bobolink, bringing music to life through storytelling and sound. This interactive experience is designed to spark curiosity, deepen listening skills, and inspire the next generation of musicians.

Symphony of the Mountains’ commitment to service encompasses the entire region, without regard for state or county boundaries. The orchestra consists of more than 70 professional musicians conducted by Cornelia Laemmli Orth.
